    Genernal greene was worried about tyhe fight and he wrote a letter to lafayette asking for help. the letter stated that wants to march with his troops for back up.

    The war has been taking a toll on the econmy. the congress quickly ran out of hard currency. it began to sell bonds to make money to support the war. also it began to print paper money, called " continentals". As it kept printing more and more money, the value of it went down. this is called inflation. the congress appointed a wealth philly mervhards named robert mories as superintendent of finace in 1781.

    Due to the efforts of robort morris and his assiant, salomon, they rasied so much money that on september 8, 1781 the troops were finall paid in gold coins.
