  • Battle of lexington and concord

    The battle of Lexington and Concord were the first military interaction during the Revolutionary war. Thomas Gage sent over 600 soldiers to concord to destroy their enemies Arsenal filled with weapons. Gage planned to arrest two of the key leaders of the patriot movement (Samuel Adams & John Hancock).
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    This battle took place because of the british plotting on taking over hills around Boston in order to recieve a tactical advantage. The Americans had soon found out about this and secretly moved their troops else where. The next day the British had attacked.
  • Battle of New York

    The British wanted to get control over New York and keep New England away from other colonies. George Washington had predicted this would happen and took matters into his hands. He sent 20,000 trained souldiers to protect New York.
  • Battle of Trenton

    The Battle of Trenton was the Americans against the Hessians and British troops. The Americans had to retreat to New Jersey in order to win back New York after an embarrasing loss. Near the end of the battle we were able to get back some of our imprisoned soldiers.
  • Battle of Philadelphia

    British General William Howe wanted to capture Philadelphia. He wanted Philadelphia for multiple reasons for example the Delaware river because you could transport goods. Washington tried taking back the City but had lost the battle.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    The battle of Saratoga happened to be the turning point of the revolutionary war. The battle took place on the hudson river in New York State. In the end of the war the Americans won.
  • Battle of Valley Forge

    The American Army camped out in Valley Forge to be close with the British who were neaarby incase they had decided to make a move. In Washington's army Marquis De Lafayette helped with leading the army.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    The Battle of Yorktown was the last one of the American Revolution war. The British had finally come to surrender themselves and had considered in doing a peace treaty
  • Treaty of Paris

    The day the peace treaty was finally signed. This treaty represented peace between Britain and their allied nations.
