This war ended on April 19, 1775 & the Americans won. This battle was also the reason it kicked off the American Revolutionary War.

    Fort Ticonderoga was located on Lake Champlain in northeastern of NY. On May 10, 1775 Benedict Arnold joined Ethan Allen & the Green Mount. Boys of Vermont in the attack of the fort by surprising and capturing the sleeping British garrison. This battle was the first American victory of the Revolutionary War.

Washingotn rode up with reinforcements & rallied the fleeing militia, Brigadier General John Sullivan encoureaged the British to surrender, ending the battle. With the victory of the Continental Army in Trenton & Princenton morale rose in the ranks and more began to enlist in the army.

General Sir W.Howe & General C.Cornwaills launched a full-scale British attack on G.Washinton, After being outnumber of 18000 British troops the Americans had no choice but to surrender & the British forced them to withdraw toward the American capital of Philadelphia.
