    Battle of Lexington and Concord
    First battle of the Revolutionary war. British were ordered to collect all warfare in Concord, Massachusetts but were stopped by a run into colonial militia. The American's took a win, because the British retreated to Boston due to the fact that they weren't expecting a battle.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    The Battle of Bunker Hill was fought on Breed's hill was a big win for the British with a two to one advantage the British defeated the Continental army, but it was one of the first battles that proved that America could put up a fight.

    Washington brought the Congenital army in preparation for a battle due to the fact that he thought that the British were going to attempt to seize New York and he was correct. But after the British brought a bigger army then the Colonial war, Washington decided to retreat because of the relaxation that they were insufferable to Britain.

    The Battle of Saratoga was actually two different wars, and it was one of the most significant battles in the war. Many people will say it's considered "turning point" because it was the war that really made France see America as it's own country even though they lost the battle, the Congenital Army put up a hard fight. Which convinced them to become allies and help American win the war.

    One of the most known painting of Washington crossing the Delaware river was based off this battle, the American won the two battles. The winning of the battle gave America control of much of New Jersey and helped reenergized them.

  • Battle of Bohomme Richard vs Serapis

    Well known Captain, John Paul Jones, starts battle by striking Serapis first in British waters. Around the middle of the battle Bohomme Richard is hit, bringing down a part of it's ship and it's colors which is mistaken as the colonies surrounding. When Captain Richard Pearson attempt to confirm that the Americans surrender, Jones says the iconic "I have yet begun to fight". With the inspiring words it helps the Americans get te-energized and they win the battle.

    The Battle of Charleston, one of the worst American lost with the British taking win by capturing or killing around three thousand Americans with only loosing two hundred and fifty soldiers (that are killed or wounded)
  • Battle of Guilford Courthouse

    Battle of Guilford Courthouse
    Around one thousand and nine hundred British soldiers under Cornwallis against Green's four thousand and four hundred men. Battle was only raged for two hours and although the British defeated America, they still lost a substantial amount of people.

    The winning battle of the war and one of the most important ones was a true show of courage and bravery that the Continental army had. The Continental Army that was led by George Washington blocked Cornwallis and his nine thousand men from leaving the city. The British quickly surrendered after the realization that they were surrounded on both land and sea by the Continental army and the French.
