    Significcance - It was the first battle in the Revolutionary War

  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Result - British Victory
    Significance - The British won but they had more of their own men dead, the Colonists lost mostly because they ran out of supplies

  • Dorchester Heights

    Result - Colonist Victory
    Significance - There wasn’t even a shot fired, the Colonist had the high point, they had cannons pointed and the British

  • Battle of Princeton

    Result - British
    Sig. - Mad Colonists flee out of New York

  • Declaration of Independence

    document that declared independence from Britain

  • Battle of Brandywine

    Result - British Victory
    Sig. - Because it was a major victory for the British that left Philadelphia, the revolutionary capital, undefended. This allowed the British to capture the city on September 26.

  • Battle of Yorktown

    significance - Last major battle of the war
