The Battle of Yorktown

The Americans and French lined up and the British surrenedered and threw their weapons in a pile. The British obviouslylost and it was the last major victory for the Americnas in the Revolutionary War.

Treaty of Paris

Parliament wanted peace so they came up with the Treaty of Paris between the Americans and Britain. Britain recognized the independence of the United States and Congress approved the treaty.
