    The battle of Lexington & Concord was one of the quickest battles in the Revolutinary war. In the brief 10 minute battle 8 minutemen where dead and 10 badly wounded. This battle was the start of the Revolutinary war.
  • Battle Of Bunker Hill

    Battle Of Bunker Hill
    The Battle of Bunker Hill took place on June 17, 1775, mostly on and around Breed's Hill, during the Siege of Boston early in the American Revolutionary War. The battle is named after the adjacent Bunker Hill, which was peripherally involved in the battle and was the original objective of both colonial and British troops, and is occasionally referred to as the "Battle of Breed's Hill."

    Colonial leaders such as Thomas Jefferson read Paine's pamphlet called common sense. Upon reading the pamphlet the leaders agreed on the fact that a Declaration should be written. Thomas Jefferson was chosed to be the main author of the document.

Many of the troops had no more than a few pieces of cloth on. Washingtons troops sneak attack the German Hessions with ease which changed the tide of the war.

    Washingtons 12000 troops settle down north of Philadelphia. Everyone was suffering from food shortages and other needed supplies. Washington hired Baron Von Steuben to train his troops. 2000 troops died during his training but the army grew stronger.

    The Patriots had beaten the British in two battles and they wanted revenge. John Burgoyne decided that advancing through the state of New York would cut off New England. In order for the plan to work John needed everything to go perfect. The Patriots created obsticules along the way by knocking trees down.This caused the British to lose valuable time. John was forced to surrender and the tide of the revolution was turning fast.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    The last major battle of the revoultionary war took place in Yorktown. George Washington wanted to hurry up the war so he attacked Charles Cornwallis with 6500 French-American troops.The battle on for multiple weeks and ended on the 19th of October when Cornwallis faced defeat and surrendered.
