    Battle of Lexington and Concord
    This was the first battle of the American Revolution. General Gage marched to Concord to take military supplies being hoarded by the Americans. Luckily a group of militiamen saved the day and defended the town. This was the first American victory.

    General William Howe wanted NYC to seperate the colonies and Howe progressed up the Hudson river. Showing that America would not stand for this, the Declaration of Independence was signed days later.

    This was an American win because Washington decided to attack during the winter when the enemy wasn't expecting the attack.

    This was a British Win. General Burgoyne set up cannons on sugar loaf, which was over looking Fort Ticonderoga. British were able to take the fort with ease.

    This was a British win. The british hoped this would be the end of the revolution but the Americans kept fighting.

    This would destroy all of Cornwallis's supplies so he would be forced to surrender. American W!

    Washington sends the remainder of his troops to Yorktown to finish off the war. American W!
  • Cornwallis surrenders.

    Cornwallis was trapped with no reinforcements or supplies so he was forced to surrender. This was the end of the American Revolution.
  • Benedict Arnolds treason discovered.

    The war would end. American owned all land to the missippi river down to florida.
