    Britain won
    This was the leading factor in the amount of taxes being pushed onto to colonizers because England had to pay for the war.
  • Treaty Of Paris

    Signed in 1763
    France gave up all their land in the Americas in return, France got the islands. So Britain technically won the war, but France got the better end of the stick. All in all this was good for Britain because without the french being in the Americas there was much less of a threat and it was easier to control the colonists, or so they thought.
  • Townshend Act

    From June to July in 1767
    Large tax on fine china, glass, lead, paint, paper and tea imported.
    This just made it harder for England to keep the colonists under its rule.

    Nobody knows who fired first, and I wouldn't say we know who won.
    This was an extremely important event, because when the colonists died and British troops hands, the colonists went crazy, this made the colonists want to fight back against British rules more than ever.

    Patriots def won even though this wasn't a battle, it was a statement.
    This really is when the patriots were getting sick and tired of the Parliament and they wanted their voices to be heard. This was monumental because this was the first big thing that colonists did in protest against England, raising more people to want to fight back

    This was the first battle that launched the American Revolution
  • Battle at Bunker Hill

    British got control over Charleston peninsula. This was the first battle of the American Revolution, this was the patriots beginning of fighting for their freedom from England
