In the 1900's there was a surprise explosion in Siberia. It was 7:35 when Russian settlers and native's saw a flash of light coming from East to North. There was a shock wave that came from the explosion and people fell onto the ground from loss of balance, windows were broken as well. The explosion was 5.0 on the earthquake scale. -

Amelia Earhart Disappearance
One day Amelia Earhart went on this big trip to travel around the world when something went terribley wrong. Some people think that Fred Noonan who was her navigator had gotten off course and had to stop. Amelia had called in the U.S. Coast Guard after they gotten lower to earth. Noonan had spotted an island and that was were they landed. Eventually the plane had runed out of gas and had went into the ocean. Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan had both died from lack of oxygen. -

There have been many attempts to kill Mahatma Gandhi. All of them were falis when after years of tring to kill Gandhi they finally did. A person by the name Godse had killed Gandhi. Gandhi had been bowing when a girl who was with Gandhi had told him that Gandhi that he was very busy, Godse went passed the girl when he then shot Gandhi while bowing, -

A man had wanted to have a tourist attraction so that is when he thought of building Disneyland. He had not enough acres when attempting to build Disneyland so it took a little longer than expected but they got it done. -

In that time period hippies were very hip. All the hippies really did was just sleep, protest, sleep, protest. Hippies were suppose to be very happy all the time. Hippies disliked the fact of war's and any nucleur or weapon. There were a lot of drugs going on though in the hippie nation. Hippies wore bright clothing because they felt that what the color they are wearing that is how they feel about life. -
Martin Luther King Jr. Speech
Martin Luther King was a black man that wanted everyone to be free. Some people supported it but some other people were totally against it. Martin ws trying to give a speech on how black's and white's are all the same people who just have different colored skin. So on August 28, 1963 Martin Luther King gave the "I Have a Dream" speech. After that speech there were more people who believed that everyone is the same and also that it doesnt matter what your skin color is. -
Munich Olympics Massacre
The massacre was held during the time of the Spring Olympics in 1972. A group named "Black September" they were the people who caused all htis trouble. The group took 11 members of the Olympic team. They later were killed. -
Eruption of Mt. St. Helen's
Mt. St. Helen's was a huge mountain. Then one day a massive explosion happened. In that eruption killed 57 people, 250 homes destroyed, and 15 bridges were destroyed during the eruption. -
Columbine High School Massacre
A day that no one will ever forget. There were 2 high school students involved in the massacre. There were bombs involved. The 2 high school students took suicide after the massacre. The total was that 15 people died, and 21 students were injured while trying to escape.
