    Elizabeth is born.

    Born in Greenwich Palace to Henry VIII and Anne Bolen. Her life was as troubled since the day she was born. Her mother was executed when Elizabeth was no less than three years old.

    Coronation
    The coronation of the newley crowned Queen Elizabeth is celebrated in Westminster Abbey. She is crowned queen by Owne Oglethrope minister of Carlisle. The cost of her coronation was 16,741 pounds in which today would accumulate up to 3.5 million pounds. The whole reason for this was to re-ensure that her people could trust her and see her fit for the crown.

    Elizabeth rises to power after many years in waiting. It is said that when she was told that she was queen she coined the term "A Dominum factum est illud, et est mirabile in oculis notris" -- "It is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes." This was also the same day that her sister Mary died.

    Executed in Fortheringhay for suspicion of plots. Elizabeth signed her death warrent to have her executed. Also other than plots Elizabeth knew that Mary Queen was a threat to her.
  • The Spanish Advance

    The Spanish Armada advances its forces in an attack on England in hoping to claim it back under Catholic rule.
  • The Spanish Invade

    Having plotted their attack since the death of his Mary the Spanish wanted to reclaim England under Catholic rule. The date is undefined as to when they attacked, but only knowing they attacked during May of 1588. This also being the same time in which Elizabeth gave her speech at Tibulry to her troops.
  • The Spanish are Defeated

    The English wait for the Spanish Armada to come in for battle on land as supposing Spain to be the "invincible Armada." Spain's ships never make it past Englands forces suffereing heavy casualties.
  • Death of the Queen

    She died in Richmond palace and was succeded by James I, son of Mary who was queen of the Scots. Thus ending the Tudor dynasty and going on to the Stuarts.
