  • Conception

    The first stage after conception is the zyogote phase which occurs during the first two weeks of birth.

  • Embryonic Stage

    From 2 weeks to about 2 months the major structures and organs of the body begin to develop and the embroyo starts to resemble a human being.
  • Fetal Stage

    From two months to birth the developing organ is called a fetus and through very rapid growth the body structures and organs complete their growth
  • Birth

    The birthing date.
  • Peek a boo

    At around 8-12 months babies establish object permenance and peek a boo no longer works on me.
  • Trust vs Mistrust

    During this stage the infant is uncertain about the world in which they live. If the care has been harsh or inconsistent then the infant will develop a sense of mistrust and will not have confidence in the world around them this is Erikson's first stage.
  • Autonomy vs shame and doubt

    During the second stage of Erikson's theory a child discovers that they have their own skills and abilities such as putting on shoes which demonstrates a childs ability to learn to be self sufficeint
  • Egocentrism

    Now is the start of the preconventional stage of Piaget which means that a child is looking at the world in a singular point of view. I can't see things from another person's point of view.
  • Initiative vs Guilt

    Children begin to plan activities, make up games, and initiate activities with others. If given the opportunity to do this children develop the initative to do this with others if denied they feel guilty for being a nusiance. This is Erikson's 3rd stage.
  • Law

    During this stage the ideas of law are first developed. With myself I was always known as the "tattle tail" and was always telling on my siblings because i was overly obsessed with rules.
  • Rational thought

    This is the start of the Concrete operational stage of Piaget in which rational thought is developed. Math problems became more fun during this stage.
  • Punishment

    In order to avoid getting punished i picked up my room. This is part of Kholbergs theory of preconventional morality.
  • Conservation

    During the Concrete Operational stage kids develop the idea of conservation and that objects might not be what they appear.
  • Abstraction

    During Piaget's final stage of development the Formal operational stage people develop abstract thought's and finding solutions by ingenious thinking.
  • Industry vs Inferiority

    It is at this stage that the child’s peer group will gain greater significance and will become a major source of the child’s self esteem. The child now feels the need to win approval by demonstrating specific competencies that are valued by society, This is Erikson's 4th stage
  • Approval

    At this stage in kohlberg's theory you are in the conventional morality stage. I did good such as holding doors open so that people would view me as a good person.
  • Guilt

    Because of social order i followed rules and laws that maybe werent morally right but followed the law because society told me to follow the law. This is also part of Kohlbergs conventional morality stage.
  • Morality and Ethics

    Through discussion on Ethics in class we came to the conclusion that some actions can transcend the law in order to protect the principles I believe in.
  • Identity vs Role Confusion

    During this stage adolescents try to reexamine their identity and the role that i would occupy for the rest of my life. Choosing a school and what to do questions what i identify myself as.
  • Intimacy vs Isolation

    We begin to share ourselves more with others and it during this stage where most of us choose wether to marry or live life solo. For me this would be marriage.
  • First Child

    First child is born which goes along with a key virtue in the intamacy and isolation stage known as love. It is a girl.
  • Son is born

    Second child goes with Generativity and stagnation as we bring children into the world
  • Generativity vs Stagnation

    During the period of 40 years to 65 years of age people have kids and help them grow and get involved with the community or we become stagnate and unproductive
  • Child's Wedding

    Going along with Generativity i walk my daughter down the aisle as she marries the love of her life. I raised her and she will do well in life.
  • Ego Integrity vs Despair

    Based on our accomplishments we examine our life assumptions and whether our life was worthy and despair at the end of it.
  • Denial

    As my life is coming to an end i ignore my health problems and deny the fact that my life will soon be over. I don't want to believe im going to die.
  • Anger

    I'm angered that my life is being taken from me and I am angry with everyone around me because of it and i am very irratable.
  • Bargaining

    I pray everyday asking god for more life and try to bargain so that i may live longer.
  • Depression

    I sulk around because I don't want to die and i am depressed that my life is coming to an end.
  • Acceptance

    I have accepted that death will come and know that i am going to die. I have come to the conclusion that it is my time to go and i accept that it is the plan.
  • Death

    The day I die.
