6:00 AM - Bryant Woke Up

Martin Bryant awoke, according to his alarm. His girlfiend left shortly after he did.

9:47 AM Left His home

Bryant left the house, engaging the burgular alarm as he left.

11:00 AM First Kill

Bryant arrives at a guest accommodation site, which is father had tried to purchase. Here, he kills David and Noelene Martin, the residents at the time.

1:00 PM Broad Arrows Cafe

Apr 28, 1996

Bryan enter Broad Arrows Cafe, eat lunch and then leaves. He comes back a short time later with an AR-15 and within 5 minutes he kills 22 people and injured a further 12.

1:30 PM Car Park

Apr 28, 1996

Bryant leaves the Cafe and enters the carpark. Some employees from the cafe were able to escape and alerted those outwside, some hid in buildings, some in buses but some thought it was apart of the historical site. Bryant killed 5 people here and injured a monumental amount more.

1:40 PM Park Shootings

Bryant drives to a nearby park and shoots 3 people, A mother and her two daughters. He shots at the people around him but misses. Others noticing what is happening start to run.

1:45 PM Hijacking

Apr 28, 1996

Bryant hijacks a BMW and kills the people in the car. He moves all his ammunition, guns and weapons to the BMW.

1:50 PM Service Station

Apr 28, 1996

Bryant drives to a pertrol station where he kills a woman and takes a man hostage. Police arrive minutes later and start their persuit of Bryant.

2:00 PM Back to the Cottage

Apr 28, 1996

With his hostage in tow, Bryant drives back to the guest accommodation site, shooting at people on the way injuring more people. He takes his hostage inside the cottage and sets fire to the BMW.

2:30 PM Police Arrive at Cottage

2 police officers arrive at the cottage. They hide in a ditch and everytime the police officers tried to move, Bryant would shoot at them. Bryant had called the police station and one of the officers girlfirned picked up. He tauted her, asking her if she knew were her husband was, when she said nothing, he said he knew.

9:00 PM - Special Operations

Apr 28, 1996

Special operations group arrived, and evetually were able to get the police officers to safety using pullet proff shields but did not use return fire in fear of hitting hostages.

Early Morning

Apr 29, 1996

Bryant was eventually captured in the early morning. The hostages were found dead after the house was alit. Bryant came running out, clothes on fire, where he was arrested by police and taken to hospital to treat his wounds.
