    Camera Obscura
    A small room or a box that has a pin-hole opening in one side which light is permitted to enter to form an image on the side or wall opposite of the opening.

    A highly detailed image in which you must clean and polish the surface, like a mirror, sensitize the plate in a closed box over iodine, (wait till it turns a yellow-rose color), hold it over mercury until the image finally appeared then if needed to fix the image, the image would be immersed in a sodium thiosulfate or salt solution which afterward you would tone with gold chloride.
