  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The British solider's were occupying the Massachusetts Bay colonies. They were there to stop demonstrations against the Townsend act. But they provoked outrage. When on of the colonist threw an apple at the British soldiers, the British started to shoot them, and killed 5 unarmed colonists.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    When the party protested against the tea tax by dumping the tea into the Boston Harbor. Asymmetrical because they were very sneaky.
  • Lexington/Concord

    Lexington/Concord
    Thomas Gage had ordered the British troops to capture Samuel Adams and John Hancock from Lexington. The British were also going to take arms and ammunition. Adam and Hancock escaped before the red coats came. The British destroyed a lot of military stores in Concord. After Lexington and Concord the British marched back to Boston. The British suffered a lot of heavy causalities. I think this is symmetrical because the British were panning to attack in Lexington and Concord.

    The British army won for a whole four mouths. General Howe had powerful force that is overwhelmed with the poor American army. Washington used all his skills to escape into New Jersey. It happen during the New York campaign and Nathan Hale was hung as a spy on order of General Howe. I think it is asymmetrical because the British were using people spy on the American army.

    It was written by Thomas Paine. The common sense was for independence between Great Britain and the 13 colonies. Paine made it a political argument for the colonies to fight for government. It is Asymmetrical because Paine wanted to people to fight for freedom of government.

    The Declaration was adopted by the second congress. It was when Colonies and Great Britain were at war with each other. The congress men signed to be the 13 colonies. Also it was written to have equal rights from the British. This is asymmetrical because fighting for government rights.
  • Battle of Trenton/Princeton

    Battle of Trenton/Princeton
    New York was in British hands. The Continental army was on the verge to win. Washington told a friend that the people spirits had shrunk during the winter and rain. Washington and the army had cross the Delaware river and Christmas night. A week later he had took Princeton. The victories had boosted American spirits. It is asymmetrical because they were retreating there plans.

    Bunker Hill
    The Americans occupied Breed's Hill and tried to drive the British Away. The British won the war, but still lost more soldiers than the Patriots. The only reason they won was because the Patriots ran out of ammunition. It symmetrical because they were at close range before starting.

    It was an American victory that convinced France to sign Treaty of Alliance with the United States (symmetrical battle plans).

    It was a winter camp chosen by Washington 22 miles from Philadelphia. The severe winter proved o be great trial for the American army and hundreds died from disease. However when it was all done the troops were stronger and better trained. They one a major victory against British general Lord Cornwallis.
