*A sit in were 4 color people was refused food and they sat there all day till close and they came back the following day with more colors.

Civil disobedience-To fight against a law that you believe is not fair.
*When blacks and whites rode same buses on interstates with out being objected.
*The blacks got beat really bad the first ride but the second round the blacks got arrested. -

SCLC-A group who help with the blacks movement.
*Birmingham was a town that need lots of help to get blacks more rights to do things.
*They lock up a lot of blacks soon they turn to children then march down by a church and stood strong till the whites gave up. -

NAACP-A group who set up the march and got everyone together
*Sevel thousands got together and expressed the right of freedom and rights.

Nation of Islam, Malcom X-A group that wants to make a place just for black people
*People just try to get them separated but they did not get what they want. -
Civil Rights Act of 1964
Plessy v. Ferguson-
*A law that bans people from kicking you out for what you look like or what they believe in.
*Many whites started fights and cause lots of color people hurt that is a effect of this act. -
Voting Rights Act of 1965
Disenfranchise-To take a right away from someone or make them feel they were not apart of the group.
*Where color people could not vote for they were not white.
*They where soon allow to vote but it had to be far from where white people where gonna vote. -
Black Panther Party Founded
Black power, SNCC-Blacks was joined and made sure they would get qual respect as a white person
*A group who wanted rights and would do anything to get them.
*This cause whites to get all wild up for they had no clue what color people could do. -
Watts Riot + Kerner Commission
Kerner Commission, ghettos-Where whites caused the problem and ghettos is where one type of race usually lives their.
*Where blacks freak out and hurt many people and killed just over 30 people that we know of.
*It lasted for six days straight till many people got si=ent somewhere.They seem like they whee pushing towards two different groups.Blacks and then whites. -

Boycott & Rosa Parks-Rosa was arrested for not giving her seat to a white person many people said that was the last straw so they came up with boy cotting the bus.
*It was where no color people rode the bus for months and caused the white people to lose prophet.
*Effect was the whites final gave into them and said they could sit anywhere they want.
