Melody is unable to really move that much and she can't speak but she remembers every single thing that she's seen/heard -
Exposition 2: Setting
The setting at the beginning of the story is at Melody's home watching some TV then after that she went to the doctor's office. -
Exposition 3: Background
*Melody is the main character that has cerebral palsy
*Melody's dad and mom, and Ms. V who would always take care of Melody
*Chrisitine is a college girl who is the aide at her school who helps Melody with all her stuff and takes care of her at school -
Rising Action 1: Conflict
The doctors still say that Melody's mentally retarded, so she can't speak or do anything, and the worst part is that there is no treatment for it. -
Rising Action 1
The teachers didn't understand Melody and the other special ed students, so the students hate everything -
Rising Action 2
The Special Ed teacher was going over the alphabet, when Melody couldn't take enough of it, so her tornado explosion took her over, and the whole room went wild. The teacher called her mom and Melody's mom broke the music CD, and told the teacher about how bored the kids are. After she was done all the kids in the class were happy. -
Rising Action 3
Melody's mom had a heated argument with the special ed teacher -

Melody has a little sister so now things around the house takes longer because of having to now take care of not only Melody but Penny also. -
Falling Action 1
Melody finds items that helps people like her to talk when she was researching Stephen Hawking -

Melody fgets the paper that described the Medi-Talker and she told Ms. V to talk to her parents to see if she can get that -
Falling Action 5
Melody tries out for the Whiz Kids team (kind of like Quiz Bowl) and she makes it. After a week or so, she is on live TV with the rest of her teammates competing against other schools. -
Climax/Turning Point
Melody had to do a biography and she picked Stephen Hawkings because she wanted to find out how he goes on with his life even though he has cerebral palsy. -
Resolution 2
Melody was left by her Whiz Kids teammates and they lost getting ninth place.
