Compromise of 1850
California was admitted as a free state. New Mexico, and Utah could decide on their own. No sale of slaves in Washington D.C.,Texas would give up claim to New Mexico territory. Fugitive slave act would be created. -

The union army defeated general Lee Confederate army at Pennsylvania. -
Freemans Bureau
It was made to help the free slaves which was a big success but was abolished because it was costly. -
Lee Surrenders
General Lee surrenders to General Grant in the town of Appomattox court house, Virginia. This ended the physical war. -
Abraham Lincoln Assassination
Abraham Lincoln was shot .by John Wilkes Booth and he died the next morning, -
13th ammendment ends slavery
This amendment was passed to free all slaves living in America. -
Reconstruction acts
The states come back to the union and it was a very hard time for time for America.
