    Abel Tasman, was a dutch explorer thats set out on a voyage to descover an island is the southern hemisphere next to Australia that would balance out the space beside it, soon he descovered that there was anothe island that was populated with polynesians, called the maori, the maori blew there horn and able blew his. To his surprise the maori decleared war so the had a big fight and he was the last douch to explore NewZealand.

    Mr Cook Travelled to New Zealand 3 times making a map and intodusing pigs and tools food etc to New Zealand, Unlike Abel Tasman he had a good relation ship with the maori.
