Tech Through Time -2000's timeline

This device was the beginning of Nintendo in the 2000's, and although in some ways it did not age well, it opened the door for a new genres of gaming, and holds a special place in MANY hearts of people who grew up with this console.

The first PCs were created in 1981 by IBM to be one of the first easily assessable home computer. It was riddled with problems, and really enjoyed by people who LOVED tech.
Starting in the 2000's computers finally started finding themselves in most middle class households. Emails, Music Ripping, the possibilities became user friendly with engines like Windows Vista.

Picnik was a Photo editing app, that was acquired by google in 2010. Within my peer group, This application really paved the way for basic-more advanced photo editing to be accessible to middle schoolers with a laptop. In General brining about a new culture of filters and editing that was previously only reserved for those who could afford it.

January 9th, 2007 Steve Jobs blew the consumers away with iPhone. Since releasing, they have com out with over 12 new Models, and somehow stayed cutting edge with their trends and camera capabilities every release. In 2020 alone, they sold over 194 million products. Apple has since been the gold standard among smart phone products. Samsung and similar competitors offer completely capable smart phones. Apple however, paved the way for common cloud storage, and successful touch screen devices.

Created by Jack Dorsey. Cash app is a third party banking system that allows you too send money, receive it, and withdrawal it nearly immediately. There are many other similar applications like Venmo, and Zelle now. This was really important for the way the younger generation started making simple transactions.
