My Government

By R.Shaw
  • The Rebellion Begins

As the ball dropped in Times Square, New York, The president was shot and killed.
  • The People Rise

After years of tyranny the people see their chance to recreate the government they could now only read about in old textbooks. Riots break out in Washington DC. The capitol is bombarded with attacks from the people screaming for freedom.
  • Trying to Regain Control

Every military branch is called back into the country and given orders to spread out across the people and contain them. A nation wide curfew is set in place.
  • Nothing works

The people are still finding ways to congregate and plan attacks. The military does little to maintain the people because they have felt the same oppression.
  • Uprising

Over half the population marches on Washington. Politicians are removed from the capital buildings and forced to step down from their positions. Those who refuse are either executed or sent away, never allowed to return to the US.
  • A New Start

After months of debates a new president is elected and sworn into office. It was decided to keep the same inaugural date as a remembrance or the men who first created this one great country.
