    A newspaper is a serial publication which contains news on current events of special or general interest. The individual parts are listed chronologically or numerically and appear frequently, usually at least once a week but sometimes fortnightly or monthly. My mother said that when I was born I am always with my grandmother and my grandmother always have newspaper with her so I grew being exposed to newspapers.
  • Radio

    Radio

    A piece of electronic equipment used for listening to radio broadcasts.
    Since I live in province when I was young. My grandfather always listen to radio. He prefer hearing news in radio than reading newspapers and I'm always with him. I also enjoy listening to music at radio.

    The definition of a television is an electronic device used to receive sound and images which create television programs that people watch. We got our own television at year 2007, since then my family watch lots of teleserye.
  • Books

    A handwritten or printed work of fiction or nonfiction, usually on sheets of paper fastened or bound together within covers. School introduce books to me. I was exposed to children's books first then school books. Until now I still read books in different genres.

    A cellular phone is a telecommunication device that uses radio waves over a networked area (cells) and is served through a cell site or base station at a fixed location, enabling calls to transmit wirelessly over a wide range, to a fixed landline or via the Internet. I was exposed to cellular phones when my parents have a cellphone load business back then.

    A computer is a machine or device that performs processes, calculations and operations based on instructions provided by a software or hardware program. It has the ability to accept data (input), process it, and then produce outputs.
    Computers can also store data for later uses in appropriate storage devices, and retrieve whenever it is necessary. We had a computer year 2012, My cousins use this for school purpose and I learn from them how to use computers.

    A smartphone is a mobile phone with highly advanced features. A typical smartphone has a high-resolution touch screen display, WiFi connectivity, Web browsing capabilities, and the ability to accept sophisticated applications. The majority of these devices run on any of these popular mobile operating systems: Android, Symbian, iOS, BlackBerry OS and Windows Mobile. I got exposed to smartphone when I got one, It was when I'm in junior high school.

    -Public updates to a profile, including information on current activities and even location data.

    -Commenting on the photos, posts, updates, videos and links shared by others.

This chapter explains that definition and presents some economic characteristics that are common among online platforms. Online platforms were introduced more to us because of the new normal that the pandemic brought to us.
