When Liz was a freshman, one of her friends dared her to tryout out for varsity cheerleading. She wasn't a typical cheerleader, and she hadn't participated in a youth or middle school cheer programs, but she did like to dance and go to games, so she went for and made the squad! That was a defining moment for her because it set up many opportunities in the future including later on coaching middle school cheerleading.

Liz and her husband decided to buy a 20-game plan for Pirate Season. While they really weren't baseball fans yet, they enjoyed spending time at the beautiful PNC Park and liked the idea of having 20 guaranteed things to do together...even if that thing was watching the Pirates lose over and over again!

After a month of visiting multple houses, we purchased our new home in Kennedy Township. We spent several long days repainting, scrapping wallpaper, and recarpeting the place until we could really call it home.

    Rescued Gibbs!
Our lives were changed forever when we pulled into the shelter to pick up our new dog. When we picked him out, his name was Silas, but we decided to change it to Gibbs. Gibbs came out of the Ohio's Pets for Prisoners Program. Basically, he spent 6 weeks in jail learning socialization skills and basic obedience.
