Chile Earthquake (Chile)
This earthquake had a magnitude of 8.8. The tsunami afterwards caused waves 50 ft. high. This disaster was responsible for 500 deaths. -
Tohoku Earthquake (Japan)
The Tohoku earthquake had a 9.0 M. The waves of the tsunami caused by the large earthquake measured up to about 33 feet.
