Marco Polo, his father, and his unlce arrived at Khan's court around 1275, Marco was sent out as a messenger, and sometimes a spy. He was loyal to the Great Khan for 17 years.

Kublai Khan put together the largest seaborne fleet ever until WWII.

The Great Khan Ogadai died in 1294.

Kublai Khan created the Yuan Dynasty, but it lasted less than a century. The Yuan Dynasty being so short, was still important to China's growth and rule. It ended in 1368.

After years of arguing over who would take Kublai's throne, the Mongol Empire fell to Chinese rebels. The Mongol Empire had disintegrated.
