I began as war between the kingdom of great Britain and the thirteen colonies in the United States but gradually grew into a world war with Britain on one side and on the other, newly formed United States, France, Netherlands, Spain and Mysore. the main result was an American victory and European recocnision of the independants of the United States

    Invasion of canada Occured during the American revolutionary war. The invasion of Canada, was the first major milatary initiative by the newly formed contenental army. The objective was to gain milatary control of the british province of Cuebec and convinced the french speaking Canadians to join the revolution on the side of the thirteen colonies.
