    They met to plan against the British if they did not repeal the acts. It was also called to address the war.

    The British undertook massive casualties to capture the strategic high-ground surrounding Boston Harbor. The Colonial Army was forced to retreat.
  • Failed Seizure of Quebec under Benedict Arnold

    American troops planned to attack the British but were attacked first. Causing the death of Montgomery.

    A pamphlet was written by Thomas Paine writing positively about independence.
  • Adoption of the Declaration of Independence

    Continental Congress adopted the declaration to gain freedom.

    Washington rode across the Delaware on Christmas and then attacked the British and gained control of New Jersey.
