    Facebook was released on February 4, 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, along with fellow Harvard College students and roommates, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes. The website was initially limited to Harvard Students but was opened up to the public when Mark saw its success.

    YouTube was released on February 14, 2005. YouTube quickly became the most popular video sharing websites ever. It was easy to use and accessible to everyone. This allowed YouTube to explode in popularity with all groups of people and all types of videos.

    The Xbox 360 was released by Microsoft on November 22, 2005. The Xbox 360 was released as the successor to Microsoft's Xbox and to compete with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii. The Xbox 360 featured an expanded version of Xbox Live, an online service, that allowed friends to connect and play together.

Twitters accessibility allowed it to quickly become one of the most used social medias. Its presence on mobile phones has allowed it to become part of peoples everyday life.

    YouTube was acquired by Google on November 13, 2006. Google officially acquired YouTube for $1.65 billion in stock. This was a huge event for YouTube because it being acquired by one of the biggest tech giants will allow YouTube to prosper with the new money coming in.

    Apples net worth passed $700 billion in early 2015. Apple set the record for the first US company to pass $700 billion dollars of net worth. This simply proves how large of a company Apple is. They dominated the smart phone market and co-dominated the computer market for the last decade.

    Apple's AirPods were released in October 2016. They were apples first venture into the wireless earbud market. They are not the first wireless earbuds but apples has a track record of picking up new technology and rapidly improving it. The AirPods show that we will soon have higher quality wireless earbuds coming out.
