While Odysseus and his crew were 10 days away from home Odysseus crew thought Aeolus gave him a bag of gold or silver so when Odysseus went to sleep they opened the bag and pushed them farther away from home

    What we learned about Odysseus crew is that they are greedy for money and that they don’t trust Odysseus. What I think Odysseus learned from this is to tell his crew members what he has when he gets it so they don’t become curious and think it’s money.

    Odysseus was returning home from the Trojan war but to get home he and his crew had to sail through the sirens island. Now Greek mythology said that if any man who hears the sirens will be drawn to the island and will never be able to leave. Before he sailed through the sirens he talked to Circe who told him to cover his men ears and his ears with ear wax.

    It was the day that Odysseus and his men we’re going out on a voyage when Circe stopped Odysseus and told him about Scylla and about how some of his men will die. Odysseus and his crew also have to watch out for a giant whirl pool called Charybdis. Now with the advice given to Odysseus by Circe who told him to sail close to edge of the cliffs of Scylla islands.

    Odysseus and his men washed up on an island so they went to go explore the island. While they were exploring the island they found a cave that was inhabited by an Cyclops. When they cyclops returned to his home he seen Odysseus and his men and sealed the cave exit off wit a huge bolder and smashed two of Odysseus men heads together and then ate them both and fell asleep.

    After the encounter with the sirens Odysseus learns that he doesn’t know that much about all of the mythical creatures. The reason for this is because if it wasn’t for Circe telling Odysseus and his men to plug there ears they all would’ve jumped over board and never returned home.

    After Odysseus men killed the sun god's cattle while he was sleep so now Odysseus learned that he cannot trust his crew members to obey what he tells them to do. He also learns that he can also not trust Eurylochus who persuaded them to kill the cattle.

    The Trojan war was started over a women the queen of Greece who was said to be the most beautiful women in the world. Then the Trojans took her from Greece which then started the Trojan war. The war ended in Troy when the Greeks built a wooden horse and climbed inside to get inside of the gates of Troy. Then when nightfall came the Greek soldier climbed out of the wooden horse and took over Troy and got back there queen.

    Circe is a Sorcerer in Greek mythology. In the Odyssey Circe is introduced when the main character Odysseus travels to her island with his crew. The thing about Circe is when men come to her island see tries to keep them there with her forever which is what she tried to do to Odysseus. When Odysseus met Circe she turned all of his men into pigs. At the end of the reading Circe helped out Odysseus by warning him about the Sirens and how to get pass the Scylla.

    In the Odyssey Odysseus and his men were sailing how when he ordered his men not to bypass Thrinacia home to the Sun god. However the men insisted on going so Odysseus agreed but told them to swear to not to touch the gods cattle since he was warned by Circe and Tiresias.Then one of Odysseus crew members Eurylochus persuaded the other crew member to go and kill the cattle.When the Sun god found out about this he asked Zeus to curse Odysseus and his men for killing his cattle.
