    TV really seemed to start to become more useful in the 1950’s they broadcasted the presidential stuff in the 50’s and other shows that became very popular for leisure. Other shows like I love Lucy, Lassie and the Andy Griffith Show cam on later in the years.

    The Korean war took place against North Korea and South Korea along the 38th parallel. This war lasted till 1950, through 1953. Today they still are separated by the DMZ.

    This was first used in 1951 by Alan Freed with the song called “My Baby Rocks” this kind of music involves strong rhythm used an electric guitar and involving different kinds of music. Like the Blues and the Jazz.

    Now an amusement park that had shown, movies, and is still is a very popular entertainment business today, has lasted for 50 years since the 1950’s The guy who created Disney started out with the Disney mouse as the first character. It all started out as a cartoon business and is now one of the main attractions in America.

    Malcolm X-Human rights Activist who was assassinated near the end of his life. He is viewed as one of the most influential African Americans ever. He was also a Muslim Minister, and people accused him of preaching racism and other bad things. Malcolm wasn’t rich when he was growing up but, he worked with what he had.

    JFK was a president in the 1950’s one of the younger presidents in the election. But his 4 years was shortly denied when he was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. He had a lot of potential and stopped world at War with the Cuban Missile Crisis.

    This crisis was probably our closest encounter with world at war. The USSR put bomb in Cuba which is very close to us, closer than Russia so we put borders Naval Blockades and if Russia would of crossed that invisible line. We might have a completely different history than what we have.

    The man who assassinated JFK who had a pretty rough childhood. His dad died at two and went bad from there. He lived in New Orleans when he killed JFK with a Sniper shot to the neck then to the head. He was arrested by the Dallas police.

Deep in Southern America a Healer and a Pastor Killed 900 people in one time. 33 people survived and they were the ones who didn’t want to go to church anymore. He killed all of those people in the village, and now there is really nothing there anymore just overgrown bushes.

    3 Mile Island was just a big accident. A nuclear meltdown that was a bit of a scare for a while. There was communication issue. This occurred in two of the United States.

    A huge accident in the Ukraine, a nuclear reactor explosion which did a lot of damage. No one lives their today because of the radiation leaks that have happened there. It is truly unsafe to go there. This was a serious mistake by the plant operators. Soviets said that the workers were inadequetly trained.

    In the 80’s the Berlin Wall which divided the west side and the east side of the of Berlin. This wall was destroyed of course in the 80’s after the cold war was over. This wall also separated the communist side versus the other side that other people typically liked better.

    Was a great football player and after he retired he was a football broadcaster and a actor. In the 90’s he was convicted for murder of his wife.

    This was a huge that all computers would turn off and they would have no working water no heat and have to go back to times when they had to make a fire and survive without it. Many people were worried that the computers were not going to translate from the 1999 to the 2000’s. So they had a meeting before this would happen. Many people would die if this would happen hospital would turn off and everything would panic at first.

    Two months after 9/11, Richard Reid attempted to detonate explosives hidden in his sneakers on an American Airlines flight from Paris, France to Miami, Florida. Passengers frustrated his plan, and the plane landed safely in Boston Massachusetts. On the flight carrying 197 people, the passengers and crew saw Reid trying to light a fuse and subdued him by tying him to his seat. A doctor on board administered a tranquilizer. Reid was a British citizen and converted to Islam.

    On September 11, 2001 a nineteen terrorist hijacked four US planes, crashing two of the planes into the Twin Towers and the Third plane into the Pentagon. When we learned about the attacks, passengers and crew members on the fourth plane attempted to commandeer control, and the plane was crashed into an empty field in Western Pennsylvania. About 3,000 people were killed on that day. It was the single largest loss of life from a foreign attack on American Soil.

The earthquake was caused by the Burma Plate was subducted by the Burma Plate and triggered a series of devastating tsunamis along the coast and killing over 230,000 people in fourteen countries.

    James Holmes accused in a shooting rampage that killed 12 at a “Batman” movie in Colorado, have offered to enter a guilty plea and have their client spend the rest of his life in prison in exchange for avoiding the death penalty. Holmes, 25, is accused of 166 felony counts of murder, attempted murder and other felonies in the July 20 shootings at the crowded midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colo. 70 others were wounded.

    Osama bin Laden, the face of global terrorism and architect of the Spt. 11, 2001, attacks, was killed in a firefight with elite American forces and then quickly buried at sea in a stunning finale to a furtive decade on the run. It is believed that he was hiding in caves. He was tracked down in a costly, custom-built hideout not far from a Pakistani military academy.

This date may be disputed with a likely trigger event as early as August 1, 2011, as a nude artist performance “Ocularpation: Wall Street” followed by arrests on Wall Street occurred while protesting American Financial.
  • Massacre at Sandy Hook

    Massacre at Sandy Hook
    Twenty-six, 20 students and 6 adults, were shot and killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14. Adam Lanza grabbed three guns from his house, a semi-automatic AR-15 assault rifle and pistols, and went to the elementary school wearing black fatigues and a military vest, according to a law enforcement official. Classes were under way at school. Approximately 700 students were present. He was planning going to kill his mother.
