Devolution (Cultural)After World War 2, a large portion of the international Jewish population was relocated to Palestine (Isreal). The Palestinians there were granted autonomy and reside in Golan Heights, West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. There is still much friction between the two groups because of religious differences. The Isrealis are Jewish and the Palestinians are Muslim, so they coninue to remain very separate. The Palestinians were also very upset at being forced out of their homes.

Warsaw pact is a supranational event. It is a political/ military event. The Soviet Union, East Germany, Poland, and a few other countries are involved. The purpose of this is to fend off the NATO.

after WWII czechoslovakia peacefull split into slovakia(east) and Czech Republic(west). Slovakia wants to split so they can join the EU and get more money than if it was Czechislovakia as a whole since Slovakia is poorer than the Czech Republic. (Economic)
