    mayflpur was the oficial beginning of the plymouth colony
  • Founding of Massachussets Bay

    Between the Pequot indians, and the massachusets bay and plymouth colonists. Many insiand were captured and sold as slaves.

    Rebellion lead by bacon against the founder of jamestown he had a very large following.
  • Salem Witch Trials

    more of a period of time where people were very concerned about witchcraft and dark forces. all witch craft was punishable by death.

    The British parlament needed money so they taxed the paper that documents were printed on. this was not very popular

    The british parlament issued an act that forced citizens to allow soldiers to reside in their homes.
  • Boston Massacre

    Civilians were giving the british soldiers a hard time and the solders fiered on them killing 5 and injuring 6 others.
  • Tea Act

    British East Indian company needed money and had a surplus of tea so the british mad a tax so that you can only buy tea from that company.
  • Boston Tea Party

    american colonists baned together and dumped tons of tea from the british east indian company in to the bay because they were tired of the tax.
  • Intolerable Acts

    A set of four acts that ourtaged the thirteen colonies and a fith the quebeck act.

    The first two battles of the american revolution.

    The 13 colonies declared inaapendance from great britain.

    Daniel Shays one of the rebellion leaders started this based on the ideas that they were being taxed to heavily.

    Farmers used leftover corn and grain to make wiskey and were taxed for trading it. farmers were upset

    signed by andrew jackson to negotiate with indians to move them to federal indian reserves.

    Declared federal tarifs of 1828 and 1832 were unconstitutional on the state level.

    Texas declares indapendance from Mexico

    an armed conflict over the anexation of texas into the U.S. when Mexico still considered Texas its own

    Ended the Mexican American War

    Devided land up among individual indians and made them subject to the laws of the us and statr that their lane allotment was in.
