- Lin was named to the All Ivy League First Team afer becoming the only NCAA Division I player to rank top 10 in the conference in scoring (17.8 ppg), rebounding (5.5 rpg), assists (4.3 apg), steals (2.4 spg), blocks (0.6bpg), field goal % (.502), free throw % (.744) and three point % (.400)

Senior Year with Harvard
- Named All Ivy League First Team again after averaging 16.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.
- Picked amongst 12 players as the "Most versatie college players" by ESPN
- Havard set numerous college records throughout the season

- Lin went Undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft

2010 NBA Summer League
- Lin went to pre draft workouts with 8 different teams but eventually ended up playing Summer League with the Dallas Mavericks
- In five games Lin averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 18.6 minutes per game.
- Lin eventually recieved rookie contract offers from the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and an unnamed Eastern Conference team.
- Lin decided to sign with his hometown Golden State Warriors on a two year deal

Rookie Season with Golden State Warriors (2010-2011)
- After signing with the Warriors Lin then signed a three year contract with Nike
- With Stephan Curry and Monta Ellis holding down the two guard spots Lin was eventually forced onto the inactive list.
- Lin finished his rookie season averaging 2.6 ppg on 39% Field Goal shooting in 39 games.

Post NBA Lockout
- Lin was named MVP of the CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) ABA Club Championship when playing with the Dongguan Leopards during the lockout.
- On the 9th December he was waived by the Warriors to clear payroll for the free agency period
- On the 12th December the Houston Rockets claimed Lin off waivers but then waived him 12 days later to clear payroll
- 27th December: New York Knicks sign Lin as a backup due to Point Guard injuries

Lin-sanity begins
- With the New York Knicks struggling Lin was called upon to help turn things round against the New Jersey Nets. He hit new career highs of 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists off the bench in the 99-92 with over the Nets. He would then go on to start his first game for the Knicks.
- In his first start against the Jazz he scored 28 points and had 8 assists and then in his second start against the Wizards he scored 23 points and had 10 assists in wins that turned the Knicks fortunes around

Lin's profile continues to rise
- 10th Feb: After turning the Knicks fortunes around guiding them to multiple wins, Lin comes up big against the Lakers outscoring Kobe Bryant to notch a new career high of 38 points. He also logged 7 assists in the heroic win for a New York team heading back to the .500 mark.
- 11th Feb: Lin logs 20 points and 8 assists in another Knicks win.
- Lin moved onto become the first ever NBA player to have at least 20 points and 7 assists in their first four career starts.

Lin's NBA Accolades So Far
- In his first third, fourth and fifth career starts he scored 89, 109 and 136 points. All three are the most by any player since the ABA/NBA merge on 1976-77.
- He was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 assists and 2 steals in four starts
- He was added in to the NBA Rising Stars Challenge at the 2012 All Star Weekend in Orlando. He will also be participating in the Dunk Contest as an assister to his New York teammate involved.
