    My focuses on:
    Healthy Eating: I will minimize my intake of fast food and eat more homemade meals with plenty of veggies.
    Physical Activity: I will try and lose 12 lbs the first year and then try and lose the same the next year.
    Preventive Health Care: I will schedule a flu vaccination every 1.5-2 years.
  • Life in your 30's

    Health Tips: eating healthy to feel our best and keeping a healthy weight to decrease risk of diseases, exercise regularly (30-60 mins), and getting 7 hours of sleep.
    Routine Health Care: women should have regualr screenings as well as men, screenings of senses use, and immunizations every year.
    Special Topics of Concern: your sexual health, mental, and emotional health need to be taken care of, your skin needs to be moisturized and cared for, and your fat starts to grow so build muscle.

    My focuses on:
    Healthy Eating: My plans is to try different diets every two years.
    Physical Activity: I will work out according to the dietary plan I am currently on.
    Preventive Health Care: I will schedule vaccinations every 1.25-1.5 years.

    Health Tips: you should contact your health care provider, obtain heatlhy habits, and obtain your families health history to see what occurs in this decade of your life.
    Routine Health Care: check ups for everyday things (physical, dental, and eye) every year to two years, and screenings for health conditions and diseases that are common for this decade.
    Special Topics of Concern: men may experience testosterone difeciency, hearing loss/changes in vision, sexual health decreases, and stress,.
  • Life in my 40's

    My focuses on:
    Healthy Eating: I will eat fast food 1 time every two months and limit my junk food intake.
    Physical Activity: I will workout every day for 2.5-3 hours continously and check my weight the last Friday of each month.
    Preventive Health Care: I will check with my doctor and schedule vaccinations every 1-1.25 years.
  • Life in your 50's

    Health Tips: eat a healthy diet, exercise 30-60 minutes and do aerobic to reduce risk of osteoporosis, challenge your mind with an interesting hobby, do not do tobacco products, drink alcohol moderately, take steps to reduce stress, and sleep a lot to stay healthy.
    Routine Health Care: yearly screenings for dental and physical plus BP and cancer.
    Special Topics of Concern: people in this age group tend to be diagnosed with cancer, chronic pain, heart disease, osteoporosis, and many more.
  • Life in my 50's

    My focuses on:
    Healthy Eating: I will increase my vegetable intake and protein intake due to being less active because of age.
    Physical Activity: I will make up of lost exercise time by working out more intense but shorter.
    Preventive Health Care: I will check up with my doctor and see what diseases and conditions are seen in my age group. I will then ask him for advice on how regularly I should get a screening.

    Health Tips: stay in shape and keep your mental health great, eat healthy to stay fit and clear of illnesses.

    Routine Health Care: see your health care provider regualrly and have screenings for diseases and conditions.
    Special Topics of Concern: risk of developing chronic diseases and many other conditions increase as you age, you should ask about warning signs for any of these, talk to your doctor about health, and follow health care providers' recommendations for screenings and exams.
  • Life in my 60's

    Healthy Eating: I will try out the mediterranean and asian diet. If I do not like these diets, I will think back to my 30's and choose my favorite one. If that is hard, I will eat more veggies and fruits.
    Physical Activity: I will walk a couple miles a day. I will have to decrease my level of intensity because of my age and inability to do intense workouts.
    Preventive Health Care: I will have screenings every 6 months because of the conditions and diseases that are aparrent in my age group.
