  • Public Law 88-164

    PL 88-164 validated funds for training professionals to work with children with specific needs. They also used it for research and demonstration for students.
  • Rehablilitation Act of 1973 (PL 93-112)

    This acts declares that it is illegal to deny participation in activities or programs solely because of a disability. They must have equal access to programs and services.
