He started playing basketball in the NBA in 2003. In his first game, he had 25 points. -
In 2006 he got his first big contract in which he was paid 80 million dollars for 3 years. Everybody knew who he was. He was becoming the best player in the game.

He was the youngest player to win an All Star. He was also the youngest player to average 31 points in the NBA.

In 2010 he went on to play for the Miami Heat. With James, Wade and Bosh, Miami Heat had the best team in the NBA. James helped the Miami Heat win two NBA championships.

After rejecting his renewal with Cleveland, signs a four-season, $154 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. After the first games in Los Angeles on 27 October, James overtakes Dirk Nowitzki on the all-time scoring list, moving into sixth place in the all-time scoring list. -
On 17 August 2022, he agrees to a two-year contract extension with the Lakers.
