Early life
Lebron James grew up in a very dangerous and violent area of Akron Ohio. He was born in a house with his mom, grandmother and great grandmother. The Family was poor so after the two older women passed away Lebron and his mom had to move to an apartment. He usually missed 100 out of the 162 days of school due to family issues and sports. -
Sports
As a kid Lebron started playing for his local football team. Right away his coach noticed how good of an athlete he is. When Lebron was 9 years old he picked up a basketball and started playing it. He was really talented at that too. -
High school
In 1999 Lebron went to St. Vincent-St. Mary high school in Akron Ohio. He made the varsity basketball team there and stayed for 4 years. In the first 2 years he was there the basketball team went 51-1. In his senior year Lebron averaged 30.4 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game and 4.9 assists per game. -
NBA draft
LeBron got drafted to the NBA straight from high school unlike most other NBA players. He was 18 years old and got drafted in 2003. LeBron was selected in the first round with the first over all pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. -

In 2003 Lebron signed a 7 year 90 million dollar deal with Nike. he was 18 years old at the time. This deal paired with his NBA contract made him the highest paid player in the NBA at the time. -

LeBron James has a wife named Savannah and 3 kids named Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri James. His Mother is named Gloria And his Father is named Anthony McCelland but he was not involved in Lebron's life at all. -

I Promise school
In 2018 Lebron created the I promise school. It is an elementary school in Akron and it is free for kids. The idea was to boost graduation rates in Akron and help at-risk kids. He also gives away free laptops and bikes to kids that go to that school. -
NBA championships
Over Lebron's amazing NBA career that is still going. He has won 4 championships. Two in both 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat, 1 in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers and 1 in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers.
