    Born in Akron, Ohio. Mom raised him by herself at the age of 16 and his father did not want to be apart of raising him. Mom couldnt keep a steady job so Lebron and his mom moved quite a bit.

    Lebron dropped out of school just as a fourth grader. Lebrons mother decided he needed a stable living enviroment and Lebron ended up staying with the Walker family, he began to rise as a student and take more responsiblity for himself

    The "fab five" at an early age
    The "fab five" consisted of Lebron, Dru Joyce lll, Sian Cotten, Willie McGee and Romeo Travis. The fab five began to be recognized around Akron for their basketball skill and gained national recognition by qualifying for the Under/6th Grade AAU National Championships. Two years later they qualified for the national championship and lost by two.

    LeBron, Joyce, Cotton and McGee all decided to go to Saint Marys Saint Vincent (SVSM) together and call themselves the fab four. The freshman (Lebron) made his varsity basketball debut as a 6 foot 3in freshemen with 15 points. Fighting Irish posted a perfect 27-0 record and captured the state championship with Lebron averaging 20 points and shot 50% from the field. (among the team leaders in rebounds, assists and steals)

    He grew to be 6 foot 7inches during the summer and when season came he was the first sophomore to be named Ohio's "Mr. Basketball" and became the first sophomore ever selected to the USA Today All-USA First Team. Earned another state title while averaging 25.2pts, 7.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 3.8 steals.

    He averaged 29.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 3.3 steals and was again named Mr. Basketball of Ohio.[2] He earned a spot on the All-USA First Team, and was named the 2001–02 boys' basketball Gatorade National Player of the Year. His junior year is when he became known as "King James". He began his nationwide exposure with appearing in magazines His popularity forced his team to move from a highschool gym to an arena for games and practices with some games televised.

MVP honors at the McDonald's All-American Game, the EA Sports Roundball Classic, and the Jordan Capital Classic. Finished with 2,657 points, 892 rebounds and 523 assists in highschool
