    French and Indian war
    The French and Indian war started in 1754, ending in 1763. When the French and Indians paired up against the British and Colonists fighting over who was going to have more land, this war costed taxation for the colonists and caused the British debt.

    Learning about all of these events that happened so long ago was a great lesson for me to learn because i had no idea what the Boston tea party was or even any of these events i am just glad to learn something new.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    In 1763 the King prevented the colonists from moving west of the Appalation Mountains because it cost money to protect them from the Indians and he didnt want another war. The colonists didnt think the King could tell them where to go so some of them went ahead and went.

    In 1765 the King made all of the colonists ( take some of the British soldiers in and care for them, give them the food they cooked, and pretty much the colonists did whatever the British soldiers told them to) house the British soldiers.

    The Stamp Act of 1765 was where the British taxed the colonists on ALL papers. The problem was that back then all of the colonists used paper for letters, wich they had to use to talk to other people because they didnt have electronics. The fact was the colonists thaught the British had the right to tax them.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    Paul Revere called the Boston Massacre it name because of the tradgety that happened in 1770. This happened because a bunch of British soldiers were being called names and having rocks and snowballs thrown at them by a group of colonists. The soldiers major told them to hold there fire, but a soldier in the bunch said that he heard the word FIRE and shot at the crowd of colonists. All of the colonists were coming toward them and all of the soldiers panicked and fired also.

    In 1773 a group of men dressed up as Native Americans , climed aboard a ship into the boston Harbor and there they dumped 90,000 pounds of loose tea into the water because they were tired of paying to much to drink tean and they drank tea about every day, so it costed alot for them. Thats why its called the Boston Tea Party.

    In this event delegates got together to discuss how to settle problems with the british. All of the coolonists started working together.
