Their plan was to take New York away from the Americans. Burgoyne was to go south of Canada and meet with an albany congress. St. leger was to move east from fort Oswego,on lake Ontratio. Howe was to march north from Virginia. Burgoyne was forced to surrender his whole army. The americans won. -

Valley Forge was in Pennsulvania. They camped right outside of Philidelphia.It was not good for the army because they had limited food, supplies, and clothing. Then the army set out to New Jersey,were they fought the british to a stand-still just nine days later at the battle of Monmouth. -

He moved himself and his army to yorktown. It was a fatal mistake because the French fleet the british navy which kept them from helping the british. On October 19 1781,the british surrendered the last battle major battle of yorktown. -
Treaty of Paris
The king wanted to keep fighting ,but the parliment voted to make peace. The two Americans who were sent to negotiate that peace were Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams. The parliment worked and thats when the war ended.
