In his fourth season in the NBA, Kobe was already one of the undisputed stars of the league although in the Lakers he was still the faithful squire of an unstoppable Shaquille O'Neal. Together with him, in 2000 he won his first NBA champion ring which was followed by a couple more in 2001 and 2002, signing a legendary 'threepeat' with the Los Angeles team.

January 22, 2006 will be forever in the memory of NBA fans. That night, Kobe Bryant achieved the second-best scoring mark in league history against the Toronto Raptors: 81 points, 28/46 in TC, including 7/13 in T3, plus 18/20 in TL. Records only surpassed by Wilt Chamberlain and his mythical 100 points.
