Artificial Intelligence is essentially electronic systems and machines that mimic human intelligence by performing tasks as well as collecting and transmitting data. AI has become the leading technology behind manufacturing, businesss operations, medical, and others as the storage and reflection of technological data is a massive part of our everyday lives. Oracle.com mentioned that AI isn’t intended to replace humans. It’s intended to significantly enhance human capabilities and contributions.
  • Media Lab- Rosalind Picard

    Media Lab- Rosalind Picard
In 1997 Rosalind Picard published a book entitled "Affective Computing" which discussed her thoughts on Artificial Intelligence. Her researched impacted our world as it revealed the future of computing. She mentioned in her book that computers won't be fully intelligent until they can recognize, feel, and express emotion. We are seeing the effects of that today by robots recognizing our moods, tones, and emotions and communicating with us. She predicted it all and revealed it to us so long ago!
  • Microsoft's "Clippy"

    Microsoft's "Clippy"
Microsft's "Clippy" was first added to Windows 97 and was essentially a virtual assistant. Clippy was used by Microsoft as a troubleshooter to help users with there writing needs. • ICalm Wristband

    ICalm Wristband
The iCalm Wristeband was the first leading technology for individuals with Autism. The wristband could sense the emotional and physical state of the individual as it could help aid with sleep, panic attacks, and stress. The only wristband of it's kind in 2007 making it a hot product for parents with autistic children. Today, the ICalm can also sense strokes, heart attacks, and other health emergencies that would need assistance. A big pro for why technology is such a help in our world today!
  • Near Future: Holographic Imaging Technology: Phones, watches, and computers.

Near Future: Holographic Imaging Technology: Phones, watches, and computers.
The holographic technology will allow individuals to set there phone down and project a hologram into the air in which finger touch on the hologram would allow tasks and calls to be completed without holding a phone at all. The difficulty that scientists have found is how physical touch of this kind of hologram can be felt, recorded, and transmitted into the phone/computer technology. Businesses and hospitals could use a small watch to display there full computer screens and communicate better!
  • Far Future: Micro Mind Chips!

    Far Future: Micro Mind Chips!
This technology would be surgically embedded on the outer part of the brain. The micro chip would allow an individual to communicate with there mind. No words, no typing, and just the power of the mind. Billing, wire transfers, and schedules can also be uploaded and stored within ones brain chip to ensure safety of private information as well as instant retrieval of it. With that being said communication with others would only work if both people had the chip on there brain. The future is great
