  • The Rule Under the Khan

    Rein under Mohamm Daoud Khan in 1973 many riots and fights in the streets emerged from this

  • The invasion

    Soviets invade the middle east forcing many people to flee the country

  • Amir and Baba Leave

    Around the time of the invasion, Amir and Baba are forced to leave Kabul and have to flee to Afghanistan.

  • America

    Baba and Amir make it to America and have decided on Fremont. This was about a year after they had left Kabul.

  • Amir meets Sorya

    After living in America for a few years Amir meets Sorya whom he eventually marries.

  • The Soviets Finally Leave

    After a harsh 10 year war between the Middle East and the soviets. The soviets finally decide to leave.

  • Taliban comes to Power

    After the Soviets left many factions fought for power, but the Taliban came out on top

  • Amir recives the Call

    Amir years later hears from Rahim Khan that he wants Amir to visit Pakistan and that he can atone for his sins.

  • Amir Finds Out

    Rahim Khan tells Amir how Hassan died protecting his house and that Khan's dying wish is to find Hassan's son

  • 9/11

    The leader of Al Qaeda launches an attack on the US trade center causing massive consequences.
