1077-78 CE Battles and Invasion There was great violence and destructure and death. Cham kingdom invades and intrudes the Khmer empire and invades there eastern territory.

1243-98 CE Religion There were dramatic changes in religions and knowledge about them. At this time King Jayavarman VIII announces the religion Hinduism should become the main religion. And demands that there be temples and images of Budda should be destroyed. And that everyone should convert to Hinduism.

1300s Religion There were dramatic changes in religions and knowledge about them. Buddhism takes over and now becomes the new main religion throughout the Khmer empire and thought the Khmer Kings.

1431 CE Location and war. Movement of location and war was encountered. The Thai army invades and attacks the region of Angkor, the Khmers abandon Angkor the next year and Angkor is left to grow with no trace of existence or an empire or kingdom at the time.

1593 CE Siamese attack. The King had died and the Siamese are now successful. Siamese kingdom (Thai) attacks the Khmer King and are successful.

Many battles took place. The Vietnamese armies repeatedly attack the khmer empire and force the Mekong river delta and they defeat the Khmer empire. The modern borders of Cambodia and Laos were now determined and the Khmer empire was lost.

Ankor Wat is Built and the Khmer empire expands and continues to grow.
