Thai army attacks Angkor. The Khmer Empire stops ruling. -

The Thai king attacks and defeats the Khmer King. Khmer is no more and is ruled by the Thais now. -
1700 Vietnamese take over Khmer
Vietnamese armies attack Khmer repeatedly and forces in the Mekong River delta and defeated the Khmer. The borders of Cambodia are then determined. -
802-835 Phnom Kulen
Discovery of Phnom Kulen, found by Jayavarman II which later became one of the biggest empires and Hariharalaya founded the Khmer Empire. Jayavarman II was entrhoned as a devaraja (God-king). -
834-1145 Angkor Wat
Khmer empire was expanded and Angkor Wat is built. Buddhism starts to become important. -
928-941 Koh Ker
Jayavarman IV moves the captial to Koh Ker. The Khmer empire continues to expand.
