I completed my high school Senior Exit Project in which I created a product that contributed to the community and gave a presentation to a board of judges. Through this project, I discovered and learned about Occupational Therapy and built a "sensory board" for a local OT facility. I really enjoyed what I observed at the facility and decided OT was the profession I wanted to pursue.

This marks the first time I lived in a house since coming to college. I had my own room and shared a shower with one other person- a big change from a residence hall style life. I moved in with three of my best friends and we are now able to eat, play, study, and laugh together under the same roof. The location is prime for walking to campus and businesses on Hillsborough. I am so thankful I get to live and spend time with my current roommates on Dixie
