The Zimmerman was a coded message sent from German foreign Minister Arthur Zimmerman. The British managed to pick up the message and was able to decode it. It said that the Germans were going to resume sumbmarine patrols even after they promised America they were not going to and they asked Mexico to help and join the war on their side

When Albert was 19 he enlisted in the Army. Albert was put in the 36th of the 142nd Infantry. His highest rank was private.

Albert served in two battles in France. One was the Blanc Mont battle which was victorious. Antoher was the Meuse- Argone offensive which they also won.
