14 Nadia Comaneci Scores 10 In Gymnastics At Olympics
On July 18, 1976, Nadia Comaneci received a perfect score on the uneven bars at the Montreal Olympic Games. This made her the first gymnast to ever achieve this score. The fourteen year old girl broke the seemingly impossible boundary giving an absolutely perfect performance, hence the score.

In 1980, Post-it notes were sold in America, revolutionizing the way the world organizes its information. On June 1, 1987 at the Brandenburg Gate in West Berlin, president Ronald Reagan called on the leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev in his famous line, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" The wall that President Reagan was referring to was the infamous 11.8 ft. The Giver Was Published
In 1993, The Giver by Lois Lowry was published. This dystopian novel portrays a society that has removed emotion and memory, and have turned to "sameness." In the book, the protagonists, Jonas must receive the memories of the past, and decide for himself right and wrong. Feliks Zemdegs 4.73 Rubik's Cube World Record
On December 11, 2016 Feliks Zemdegs set the speedcubing world record on the 3x3 Rubik's cube at 4.73 seconds. He did this at the POPS Open 2016 competition in Melbourne Australia. This is the third sub-5 second record. Feliks Zemdegs uses the CFOP algorithms, which makes permutations more efficient than the beginner's method. That day, Zemdegs made speedcubing history.
