    When he was fourteen, his father sent him to the Le Rosey Institute, a boarding school in Switzerland to improve his behavior. There he met a future member of The Strokes, Albert Hammond, Jr.

    Casablancas later attended Dwight School with two other future members, Nick Valensi and Fabrizio Moretti.

    Casablancas met the first member of The Strokes, Nikolai Fraiture, while both were attending the Lycée Français Institute in New York (Fraiture graduated in 1997), while Casablancas in 1996.

    In 2002 the band released their second album, and although it was not as acclaimed as the first, I had many hits like "Reptillia", "12:51" and my favorite "what ever happend"

    This was the third album made by the band, this was very successful with great songs including their second most listened to "You Only Live Once" although in my personal opinion the best of the album is "red light".
