    Jordan Spieth was born on July 27th 1993 to parents Shawn and Chris. As a kid he was involved in many sports, baseball being his favorite. But at the age of 12, he gave up baseball to focus on golf. He had great success as an amateur and won two tournaments (Spieth 1).
  • Last Junior Amatuer Tournament

    In Jordan's last tournament as a Junior Amatuer, he was able to come from behind and secure the win for the second time in three years. This was one of his breakout performances and showed his readyness to advance to Amatuer play (Murrison 1).
  • Jordan goes Professional

    After a successful two years playing with the Texas Longhorns, Spieth decided it was time to join the PGA tour. In his two years at Texas, Spieth was able to help the team win the NCAA championship as well as be named the Big 12 Conference player of the year (Holmes 1)
  • First win on Tour

    First win on Tour
    After sinking a 44-foot bunker shot on the 18th hole (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhyteS7C7x0), Jordan Spieth forced the John Deere classic into a three-way playoff. Jordan ultimatley defeated the two other competitors and took home his first career win on the PGA Tour.
  • The Spieth Family Foundation is created

    After Jordan had massive success on the Tour, he decided he wanted to help people off the course as well. In the video clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcKDAfsbQXM), Jordan is shown talking about his foundation. Inspired by his younger sister Elle, who has autism, Jordan aims to improve the world in three catagories: junior golf, military families, and special needs youth. Becasue of Jordan's huge influence, his foundation has already begun to achieve it's goals.
  • Jordan wins the Masters

    Jordan wins the Masters
    After getting off to an early lead, Jordan was able to continue his dominating performance and win the tournament. He ended up winning by four strokes and set a new record for the Masters. After putting on the coveted green jacket, Spieth already started to look forward saying he hoped to win two Masters.
  • Wins the FedEx Cup

    After a long and successfull season, Jordan was able to cap off the year with his biggest win yet. By winning the Tour Championship, Jordan secured his spot at the top of the FedEx Cup Standings. With this being the last tournament, Jordan was crowned the winner and awarded the ten milliion dollar prize awarded by FedEx.
